We hold our monthly club meetings on the 4th Monday of each month at 7:30 p.m. in the Garland Women's Activity Building at 713 Austin Street, at Glenbrook, just west of the Garland Public Library. Things get started with a summary of recent and upcoming club activities, which includes officer and committee reports. Following a short break, there is a featured speaker who covers a timely and interesting topic related to amateur radio.
Visitors are always welcome. Come discover our club and learn why it pays to become a member.
On the 1st Saturday of each month we have a "Hands-On" gathering from noon until 3 p.m. Bring a piece of equipment that needs repair. Help us with the grounding of the antennas and equipment. Bring your expertise and help a new HAM. Come by and enjoy donuts and coffee.
On the 3rd Saturday of each month (see Calendar) we have an "Open House at the ECC" from 9 a.m. until noon. Come by for coffee and donuts, bring any equipment you would like to sell, and enjoy the exchange of ideas and opinions in this informal setting.
Join us for a weekly gathering of all those who are interested in ham radio or just chit chat with friends and cronies. We meet at Dos Banderas, 614 Main Street in Garland, at 11 a.m. For talk-in tune in to 146.660.
